Us Taking Care Of Each Other

Salam sayang buat anak ummi,Hamzah :) Sehari dua ni ummi tend to think more of the fun things we do.Weather has been hot lately so ummi made a point to berendam dengan Hamzah dalam outdoor pool Hamzah yang besar Uncle Am & Aunty Zid hadiahkan tu at back area space of our home once a day. Hamzah memang enjoy always berendam mandi sampai dah jadi macam routine biasa which means nowdays Hamzah seldom and tak berapa nak mandi dalam bathroom (tapi if keep on pujuk biasa Hamzah tak kisah sgt mandi jugak dalam bathroom). Ummi wished I had focused earlier to train Hamzah learn to swim since you were newborn tapi somehow tak terfikir that time.Seems like its a trend nowdays some parents prefer ajar their child swimming since umur 1 bulan.InsyaAllah,one day ada masa lebih sesuai we'll enrol Hamzah for swimming lessons.

That aside,ummi teringat about what happened two nights ago which was totally unexpected tapi alhamdulillah,ummi very happy Hamzah dah pandai observe more what's around you and Ummi sentiasa doa biarlah Hamzah pick up hanya ilmu yang berguna you see around you. It reminds me of how Ummi hope we both will learn to take care of each other as we go on live our life sama. We slept early two nights ago,tapi ummi terjaga in the middle of the night sedar-sedar my blanket dah misplaced ke tepi.Dalam keadaan separuh ngantuk tu ummi tengok plak Hamzah elok-elok tersenyum duduk sebelah ummi and gelak tepuk-tepuk perut ummi then pass ke ummi your blanket utk ummi pakai ;') Lepas tu terus Hamzah sambung tido balik.

AAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWW ummi find it so sweet gesture Hamzah,anak soleh ummi insyaAllah. First time ummi find Hamzah have that gesture.Masa Hamzah younger than two years old dulu ada one time ummi ingat jugak pukul 3 pagi Hamzah terjaga tido rasa tak selesa mild fever and sebelah peha Hamzah mula bengkak due to the previous day Hamzah kena immune injection. You refused to sleep since in pain tak selesa so ummi bawa jugak Hamzah nak gi hospital to check.Tapi somehow halfway journey Hamzah calm down relax sikit and takde nampak serious indication we decided to head home again and ummi bagi Hamzah panadol syrup to ease your discomfort bring down temperature.Soon enough Hamzah dapat tido balik and a few days after recover completely.

We are around for each other and to take care for each other insyaAllah.Ummi sayang Hamzah always.

2012 and Hamzah

Salam sayang buat anak ummi,Hamzah :)

Ummi terasa cepatnya masa berlalu. Pejam celik pejam celik Hamzah dah makin besar now in the year 2012,taller and riuh je mulut bercakap in your own language. It never fails to make me realise betapa besarnya kuasa Allah bila witness each day as you grow. Alhamdulillah,ummi sentiasa bersyukur Allah SWT sentiasa tempatkan Hamzah and ummi di bawah penjagaan-Nya. Sememangnya hanya kasih sayang Allah SWT hakiki and kekal sepanjang hayat untuk ummi and Hamzah appreciate and return with much gratitude.
Atas sebab itu,tak pernah lepas tuturan kata-kata and doa Ummi untuk Hamzah setiap hari untuk Allah SWT makbulkan supaya Hamzah membesar dengan baik,sihat and paling penting menjadi anak yang soleh buat ummi :) InsyaAllah, ummi akan berusaha as much as I can untuk Hamzah to be well educated firstly dengan ilmu agama secondly ilmu dunia untuk persiapkan Hamzah face the world as a fine grown up muslim man one day.
Ummi berharap Allah SWT akan mempermudahkan serta berkati doa Ummi buat Hamzah, for it is every mother's wish and prayer for their offsprings to grow into fine young "god-fearing" muslims,insyaAllah.
There's always new things to keep in our journal for Hamzah's developement but ummi apologize that it is not always easy to pen down all my thoughts about raising you up Hamzah. Although Hamzah still too young to understand all of this but deep down I know you're a good observant that ummi has alot to juggle alongside with making sure you're growing up well. We are strong in our own ways and Ummi am very glad Hamzah able to cope it well with Ummi.
Here's to more good prayers for us to achieve in year 2012--

• Perform solat on time together (with Hamzah prepare sujud few times bila dengar azan waktu masuk on channel oasis)
• Be more happy and contented with each other's company
• Have play times as much as we can together
• Learn new words -- now Hamzah's favourite word is : no,no!
• Adventurous with eating new food especially for Hamzah--healthy food that is

Ummi rasa macam tak percaya je,in less than 4 months time you'll turn 2 years old as well :') What a wonderful blessing feeling ummi dapat rasakan Allah SWT berikan peluang untuk ummi and Hamzah to experience this process of both of us growing up together. Eventhough ummi am busy juggling so much matters along with you but it never escapes my thinking from time to time to plan organize your next birthday celebration :) We'll do it together the preparation stage by stage and little by little from time to time okay?

Salam sayang buat anak ummi,Hamzah budak2 baik2 anak soleh insyaAllah :)

You slept early tonight,near 8pm which is not the usual :) Ummi guess Hamzah have had a long day and little nap tengahhari tadi on the way kita attend lil Neil Afdhal's aqiqah so lepas maghrib Hamzah da mula penat ngantuk sgt. Alhamdulillah ummi glad we made it to aunty Ain and Uncle Faiz's aqiqah ceremony for their new born son inspite of ummi being busy catching up hoping to be ready for my final exam. Ummi needed a break and do something different from study routine to spend time with Hamzah. Cuma one thing ummi rasa terkilan sedih and overworry today when for the first time you had obvious bruise atas kelopak mata kiri lepas terhantuk pada meja belajar ummi when you tried climbing up the work chair :(( Ummi should have tried to keep you off the chair and table like usual tapi Hamzah memang kuat suka nak memanjat nowdays. Nasib baik ummi tak pengsan gak tgk your state,you cried but ummi managed to cepat2 calm you down and sapu minyak gamat on the bruise cut. You were your usual self however throughout the day.So ummi beleive eventhough benjol tu looks ugly on you and its a first tapi it will not lead to more serious injury insyallah.Ummi will keep looking into it ok sayang for the next few days.Hopefully it'll heal on its own and wont need further attention at the clinic.Ummi rasa sedih sgt still tgk the bruise on you.It's a normal motherly feeling,kalau boleh mmg nk protect takmo pape jadi ke atas diri anak physically. So we are both the strong ones kan cayang?InsyaAllah ummi sentiasa tuturkan,doakan Hamzah will be strong mentally and physically as  you grow.

We had good time at Neil Afdhal's aqiqah today kan?Ummi suka tgk Hamzah try your best to get comfortable with the crowd especially kids near your age.Even baby Neil Afdhal Hamzah nak tegur.Tapi abang Neil Luqman yang suka pulak ngusik Hamzah ye kejap nak share jelly kejap tak nak (Aunty Ain if you're reading this,sorry Hamzah sesekali emo plak).Kids are just being kids kan :) Hamzah had good appetite makan nasi minyak kuah korma,chocolate cake and fruits.

Overall it was a nice relaxing day for times spent together kan?Cuma ummi as usual memanglah rasa penat doing alot of driving.Takpe,now ummi your driver and when you can drive legally then insyaAllah ummi harap Hamzah will take over some of that chore ok :)

We are celebrating raya aidil adha for the second time together this year my son. Alhamdulillah,ummi bersyukur for this wonderful opportunity Allah has set for us. Never a day passed by until today everytime I wake up I still feel as if seeing you growing up in front my eyes always a wonderful dream :) Besarnya kuasa Allah SWT ciptakan Hamzah membesar dengan sihat.It never fail to amaze me seeing you growing up well and smart my son. Semoga Hamzah sentiasa di lindungi,membesar ke arah jalan lurus yang terbaik Allah tetapakan,be good soleh son to ummi ok sayang?Ummi love Hamzah always,little hugs and nonstop kisses for my sweet little boy :)

Our raya aidil adha this year is simple yet I am always thankful as I have you by my side my son.Kita mesti belajar bersyukur dengan segala rezeki Allah set for us.We have nasi impit kuah lontong,satay ayam and few desserts for juadah raya. Malam nanti ummi pasangkan pelita to light up our home ok :)

Salam sayang buat anak ummi,Hamzah budak2 baik anak soleh insyaAllah,

Ummi been wanting to update on your progress,but we've been busy as always kan sayang?Today we had a long day out,tapi now at night eventhough ummi penat but i am always happy to see you happy my son. We had a good time out today at IKEA and Toys R Us.I love looking at you when you love playing and running around at the kids section of those two stores. We got you your very own play table now from IKEA.Ummi plan to teach you to do colouring at your play table nanti since I got us washable watercolour pens from Crayola at Toys R Us .Best part of all yang Ummi soooooo happy to see you happy is when we got you your very own indoor/outdoor slides ummi bought at Toys R Us!!!Ummi dah perasan for a while now Hamzah dah bosan with all your toys.Balik umah je ummi terus assemblekan the slide while you sleep and when you woke up,macam malu-malu je dulu ummi rasa Hamzah fikir kot-kot dalam mimpi terkejut nampak slides baru depan mata. Soon enough you start climbing its stairs and terus slide away together with your boo-boo teddy bear :) Alhamdulillah.

Just short updates on you, yang ummi observe lately:

• Appetite Hamzah: you like sup tom yam campur,pizza (pizza hut/dominos),ayam goreng McDonalds/A&W
• Vocab:You can say "yes"
• Counting: Hamzah suka tgk video cousin abang musadiq counting his fingers on ummi's iphone,so you tend to imitate follow as well.You will repeat to say after me when i say "One,Two,Three" you will repeat "2=to,3=ti" while counting your fingers.Sometimes Hamzah suka mengira as well bila tengok buah-buah limau kasturi kat pokok ummi tanam jaga ;)
• Most times when ummi gi kelas,Hamzah merengek nak ikut sama tak suka being left behind and i'll sing to you.....

Hamzah mesti terhibur rasa tenang then before we part and ummi will say to you with a promise "Ummi gi kejap je,ummi will be back soon ok sayang!Ummi sayang Hamzah,jaga diri jangan nakal2 selamat belajar :)"

Salam sayang buat anak ummi,little ustaz in the making,Hamzah :)

Ummi just want to share this little fact on you sayang. Nowdays since you're getting cleverer, you absolutely love looking at my iphone or any other smartphones/ipad such that you even think it works the same on flat screen tvs (you'll tap your tiny little fingers over and over again on the tv's screen hoping for some sort of reaction on the program).

Your usual way of approaching me when you want to play with my iphone is by persuading me to pass you the iphone (sampai tengok2 belakang ummi kot2 ummi sorokkkan) and pester ummi to click on the photos and vids app/babytv app so you can play or have a look at recorded videos of yourself. Most times ummi try to suit to your liking and layan you play but definitely during your sleeping time at night is due i've to make sure you go to bed as early as best for you.One thing ummi can never forget last night was HOW difficult it was for me to get you to sleep!!!Simply because you wanted to lawan mata ngantuk you persuade me to play with you on my iphone app.You tried ways and means to make sure ummi will switch the iphone apps so you can have a look at videos and play the games.Ummi biasa sometimes to a point pretend to sleep so you'll follow to sleep tapi seboleh-boleh last night you don't want me to sleep.Ummi baring next to you with my eyes shut and one hand over my face while you're still sitting holding my iphone.You persuaded me by sitting on my tummy,rolling about on my feet and lastly eventhough i didn't budge and still pretend to sleep you actually tried to lift up my fingers and hand from my face and put the phone in my palms!!

Hahaha by then ummi dah give in jugak gelak2 kat Hamzah and Hamzah pun gelak sama in victory sebab managed to get ummi to stop pretending to sleep and play with Hamzah instead(and that was at 10pm plus sampai ummi abandon studying my notes ok!!!).Last-last we both slept jugak eventually lepas main2 phone for a while.

Sabo je lah anak teruna ummi sorang ni,ummi sayang hamzah always.be good boy soleh son to ummi :)

PS:A special tribute to the late Steve Jobs,you're certainly a person to be remembered for your ways of revolutionizing today's technologies for your creations has sparked the young generations of today including my 17 months old son to be smart at learning new knowledge to understand as part of his (growing up) life :)

A few nights ago campus ummi had a night function to celebrate its anniversary.Ummi at first wasn't planning to go since i hardly knew much about it. But after i found out there's going to be fireworks display ummi thought why not?!We should go and i was hoping you will enjoy the fireworks display.

So that night we went near 9pm and gathered in the open carpark area where there were stageshow,massive crowd and stalls selling food and drinks.Hamzah was in your good mood,sitting nicely in your stroller.We waited patiently a bit farther away from the massive crowd and as the countdown begins ummi got really excited.Eventhough Hamzah tak tau whats going on :)

Exactly 9pm sharp, the fireworks were shot into the pitch black sky one after another.It was a beautiful sight to ummi and I was expecting you'll react the same but unfortunately you got scared!! :) Ummi cepat2 dukung Hamzah calm you down close to my chest.Luckily you didn't cry much,maybe because you were already sleepy ready for sleep.Ummi took videos most of the time during the firework display.I'll try to upload later in this post so it's a captured memory in our mind during time spent together.

Ummi just want to share with you the moment we went through that night.Ummi realised after most times when busy juggling our life together between my studies,parenting life and beyond that ummi hardly use some quiet moments to look up at the sky and appreciate the beauty Allah SWT provides for us. On that particular night, ummi felt all at once:excitement,happy,in awe and just bliss to share viewing the fireworks display with my son,Hamzah.

Ummi love you always my son.Be a good soleh son to ummi.

At the time ummi write this post,I'm looking at you riding your scooter so confidently.Smiling away all cheeky :) We've had a long day and ummi feel tired but i'll still write a bit so we can keep this story part of our memory keepsake.

Alhamdulillah,as of yesterday 18 september 2011 Ummi turned 1 year older. I am one year older as ummi to Hamzah(the second year celebrating my birthday as a ummi),with hope Allah SWT will continue to bless Ummi with everlasting strength, growing wisdom and amplified maturity to hold this responsibility towards you my son (ameen).

We've had a great time on ummi's birthday kan Hamzah? :) Ummi was even more happy tengok Hamzah all excited to spend the times with Ummi on my birthday.Lets hope we'll share lots more of our birthdays together in many more years to come insyaAllah.Hugs and kisses to my sweet little boy,imam muda in the making...Ustaz Hamzah!Ummi love you always,my son :)

Hamzah DI Suatu Pagi Ke Pasar Dengan Ummi

Salam selamat pagi hamzah sayang :) Dah tak lama lagi Hamzah turning into 1 year old 3 months toddler (3 days lagi). Rasa cepatnya masa berlalu, ummi enjoying every seconds and moments of my days observing watching Hamzah grow each day alhamdulillah sihat thanks to Allah SWT (demam selsema sikit2 tu biasa lah kan sayang tapi ummi tahu Hamzah tabah kuat macam Ummi and Abi). Sekarang ummi tengah compose ni Hamzah tengah nak start your playtime with your toys lepas makan breakfast fruit yogurt and favourite cereal Hamzah,coco krunch with ummi tadi. Ummi banyak nak cerita tentang progress Hamzah insyaAllah in the next few entries.Ummi have to be quick in this post sebab ummi kena sambung buat revision untuk exam.Lepas exam nanti we'll go for your immune injection nanti ok sayang.

Hamzah bangun awal pagi tadi teman ummi gi pasar pagi beli ayam,ikan tenggiri,sayur etc :)

Nanti Hamzah dah betul2 besar boleh tolong ummi drive kereta gi pasar belikan barang makan for us ok? Sekarang ummi pikul tanggungjawab tu dulu :)

Dah lamanye ummi tak make a point updatekan life Hamzah sini ye. It's been a roller coaster ride our family have to go through kan in the past few months.Alhamdulillah Hamzah tetap ummi abi besarkan best as we can. You've grown up so well and healthy sayang,insyaAllah ummi abi sentiasa mendoakan kepada Allah SWT untuk Hamzah membesar dgn sihat, cerdik and berakhlak baik.Ameen.

Ummi ada banyak cerita nak share dgn semua di sini tentang perkembangan Hamzah untuk kita semua simpan dalam memori. Hamzah lately selsema dedha kan, batuk2 sikit buat ummi extra risau je.Hopefully doctor's medication will help cure Hamzah soon dengan izin Allah. Ada lebih masa lagi ummi will try update as much as i can about hamzah ok sayang?

For this post,ummi nak share with Hamzah moments Hamzah spent dengan Abi recently di Wetlands Putrajaya. Hamzah happy je time ni ye dapat spend time dengan Abi. Ummi yakin walaupun Abi kerja jauh tak dapat luangkan banyak masa ke Hamzah,tapi niat dia tetap baik untuk bertanggungjawab sebagai abi kepada Hamzah,mencari rezeki halal untuk Hamzah. InsyaAllah Hamzah Ummi doakan yang terbaik sahaja untuk Abi ok sepanjang Hamzah berjauhan dengan Abi kerja abroad.
