Salam sayang buat anak ummi,Hamzah budak2 baik budak2 manis :)

A few nights ago campus ummi had a night function to celebrate its anniversary.Ummi at first wasn't planning to go since i hardly knew much about it. But after i found out there's going to be fireworks display ummi thought why not?!We should go and i was hoping you will enjoy the fireworks display.

So that night we went near 9pm and gathered in the open carpark area where there were stageshow,massive crowd and stalls selling food and drinks.Hamzah was in your good mood,sitting nicely in your stroller.We waited patiently a bit farther away from the massive crowd and as the countdown begins ummi got really excited.Eventhough Hamzah tak tau whats going on :)

Exactly 9pm sharp, the fireworks were shot into the pitch black sky one after another.It was a beautiful sight to ummi and I was expecting you'll react the same but unfortunately you got scared!! :) Ummi cepat2 dukung Hamzah calm you down close to my chest.Luckily you didn't cry much,maybe because you were already sleepy ready for sleep.Ummi took videos most of the time during the firework display.I'll try to upload later in this post so it's a captured memory in our mind during time spent together.

Ummi just want to share with you the moment we went through that night.Ummi realised after most times when busy juggling our life together between my studies,parenting life and beyond that ummi hardly use some quiet moments to look up at the sky and appreciate the beauty Allah SWT provides for us. On that particular night, ummi felt all at once:excitement,happy,in awe and just bliss to share viewing the fireworks display with my son,Hamzah.

Ummi love you always my son.Be a good soleh son to ummi.

Hamzah at 17 months old

Salam sayang buat anak ummi,Hamzah budak2 hensem budak2 baik :)

As I write this post,you are sleeping soundly in your playpen. Few days ago on the 29th September 2011 you turned 17 months old.Alhamdulillah so far ummi observed you are growing well and healthy.Ummi sentiasakan doakan Hamzah will be under Allah's protection in growing up healthy and strong :) Ummi was glad last Saturday u went for your pneumococcal injection for the first time and you took it like a pro tapi dengan keadaan menangis jugak,but Ummi was glad as well i was strong enough to face the situation with you.Ummi tau you were already tired after playing while waiting our turn,you were ready to sleep when paed ready to inject.So you were all cranky nak tido on the bed,tapi Ummi had to hug you tight and hold your hands when paed injected the vaccine shot and I was brave enough to look at the needle being inserted into your thigh.You cried more maybe terkejut and rasa sakit the needle while Ummi baca doa selawat to your ears tapi alhamdulillah,tak lama lepas tu you calmed down bila ummi pujuk.After all is settled,we went home and soon enough you slept in your carseat soundly.You had a good rest long hours of sleep and no fever was developed.Alhamdulillah,dengan izin Allah you were allright my son.

Anyhow, Hamzah's new milestones at 17 months ummi observe:

• More new teeth coming out!Awwwww ummi selalu rasa excited je dengan progress ni,rasa macam Hamzah growing well with this particular sign.Dah boleh nampak gigi taring Hamzah :D
• Because of progress above,selera makan Hamzah nampak fluctuate.Ummi guessing sebab makin banyak gigi tumbuh,so gusi Hamzah most times tak selesa maybe sakit bila nak kunyah makan :( Tapi nak buat macam mana,if ummi boleh amek that pain for you mesti ummi amek and tanggungkan for hamzah. Ummi just have to not overworry on this,asalkan Hamzah masih makan regularly wether sikit or banyak berselera.It is the best still asal Hamzah tak kelaparan nak makan tapi tak boleh makan sebab sakit
• Sesekali Hamzah mula tunjuk again perasaan malu,Ummi tak sure why in certain situations. Even when Hamzah tgk clip video zikir2 arwah Ustaz Asri on Indahnya Iman and Hamzah macam malu2 tgk dia ;) Tapi yang paling chomel sekali,nowdays bila Hamzah rasa nak buang air besar Hamzah mesti berlari nak menyorok kat corner-corner lain biar tersorok sikit takde orang boleh datang dekat so senang Hamzah nak buang air besar with privacy in your pampers dulu before settle nak gi basuh ;) Hehe memang Hamzah the cutest to ummi's eyes when you behave that way. Pandainyeeee Hamzah!
• Menu makanan Hamzah terbaru yang Hamzah suka:buah honeydew,nasi goreng,roti bakar tabur sikit-sikit icing sugar,french toast/eggy bread,air soyabean,honeystars cereal,cake red velvet and carrot cake ummi bake,vitamin scott's emulsion orange flavour
• Vocabulary:alot of words you're trying to pick up tapi sebutan hujung-hujung je macam:
• jan=hujan
• dap=sedap
• mam=makan
• Overall you've your chatty moods macam nak bercerita pada semua orang and ummi intepret sendiri what you're trying to say
• You love to play with ummi's iphone on the apps Ummi download for you especially games by Baby Tv.Ummi happy Hamzah cepat pickup nak main on those games.InsyaAllah,ummi doakan your brain is growing well and the developement for your critical thinking is building up :)

Happy belated 17 months old birthday my son. Ummi love you always.Be a good boy and soleh son to ummi :)

At the time ummi write this post,I'm looking at you riding your scooter so confidently.Smiling away all cheeky :) We've had a long day and ummi feel tired but i'll still write a bit so we can keep this story part of our memory keepsake.

Alhamdulillah,as of yesterday 18 september 2011 Ummi turned 1 year older. I am one year older as ummi to Hamzah(the second year celebrating my birthday as a ummi),with hope Allah SWT will continue to bless Ummi with everlasting strength, growing wisdom and amplified maturity to hold this responsibility towards you my son (ameen).

We've had a great time on ummi's birthday kan Hamzah? :) Ummi was even more happy tengok Hamzah all excited to spend the times with Ummi on my birthday.Lets hope we'll share lots more of our birthdays together in many more years to come insyaAllah.Hugs and kisses to my sweet little boy,imam muda in the making...Ustaz Hamzah!Ummi love you always,my son :)

Hamzah's Current Milestone

It's been a while since last ummi update tentang Hamzah. Musim raya ni our life's still busy as always kan sayang? Never a day goes by in the past 1 year 4 months 2 weeks 3 days ummi lahirkan Hamzah and ummi will want to miss chances in waking up to see your smiling face,my son. Hamzah sentiasa eager nak bangun start your day with new things to learn about what life is about.Alhamdulillah,ummi bersyukur sentiasa Hamzah going through phases of growing up well on your way.Ummi doakan mohon Allah SWT lindung Hamzah sentiasa while you're growing up. There is so much for you to look forward to in life,ummi hope you'll be well ready as time comes.

There will be days we face with gloomy feelings,the downs about our life, tapi rest assured other days Allah will replace us with sunny smiles and happy times ahead. We will make the best of what life can offer us always ok sayang?What's important for Hamzah is to be a good person, a soleh son and well educated spiritually and on knowledge throughout your life. One of the usual conversations Ummi will have with bestfriends Ummi about Hamzah is like how most typical mothers would say.. friends will ask..."How is your son like?" and Ummi will say "He's a happy bubbly baby,a good son insyaAllah.Ummi just can't wait to see him growing up well and smart,go to school,finish degree and Masters,find a wife and get married!" ;) Hehe that's just how Ummi is,i love to vision far ahead about you Hamzah.InsyaAllah,semoga dgn niat doa and usaha Ummi to be a responsibled mother for my son,Allah SWT will guide and help ummi all the way through. Eventhough I've heard the saying in Islam, "anak boleh di ibaratkan sebahagian daripada perhiasan hidup kita" but nevertheless,anak juga tetap anugerah and amanah dari Allah untuk Ummi therefore before you reach your adulthood independence,Ummi will assist you grow up along the way.Once you are a grown up son,insyaAllah Ummi will learn to let you go bit by bit.Or else Hamzah will end up jadi "anak ummi/mak" forever and personally,Ummi wouldn't be proud of myself and for Hamzah if you turn up to be like that ;)

Updates on Hamzah yang Ummi observe lately,

• Mulut Hamzah makin riuh! You're trying hard to communicate with people. Still susah nak pick up most of the words you used tapi insyaAllah you'll improve more as you grow
• Concentration on your skills to play with your toys is getting better so Ummi rasa you're improving on your critical thinking ability. You're able to stack up your toy stacks accordingly, put specific shape blocks according to its own respective slots of your toy box,etc
• Gigi geraham makin banyak tumbuh,love your pearly white smiles always. Selera makan makin variety,sesekali Ummi let Hamzah rasa sikit2 makanan pedas but very-very mild pedas more like sambal2 cili tomato hujung2 sudu je gaul with rice,mee with kuah kari.You seem to like to eat eventhough berjelir jugak lidah.You like pancakes too and full fat chocolate milk
• Mula tunjuk perasaan merajuk marah nak merayu if nakkan sesuatu.Aiseh ini sometimes Ummi give in sometimes tak and Ummi must show I can be strict to you. At times if Ummi saje lambat bagi,Hamzah mesti nangis marah sampai terbaring-baring atas carpet tapi tak lama you'll calm down when Ummi distract you with something else. All part of toddlerhood for you sayang (wait until you reach teenager period, fuh time tu sure lagi mencabar Ummi nak maintain my role to didik Hamzah).Hopefully,you'll learn to outgrow this phase haha
• Suka main remote control car,walaupun skill tak mahir lagi tapi either Hamzah nak main sendiri using the controller or you want Ummi to do it for you

There's always stories to tell of you Hamzah and insyaAllah i'll try to find other time to update.I've got to get back to final year project work Ummi now while you are playing with your car. Ummi sayang Hamzah always,my son. Eventhough I am a new ummi with little experience tapi insyaAllah, i will never give up my role and responsibility with Allah's guidance and will on you and my only hope Hamzah,is for you to be a soleh son :)

Salam sayang buat anak ummi,Hamzah budak2 baik & anak yang soleh insyaAllah :)

We've had a great raya so far kan sayang?Ummi am very glad I managed to make it a special raya preparation for our celebration. Ummi was happy dpt masak rendang ayam and nasi tomato with lauk2 dhall veg,kurma daging and ayam masak merah Hamzah seemed to like to eat ALOT! :) Ketupat pulut daun palas Ummi masak right from scratch pun turned out well,pretty good for a first timer like ummi :) Kalau Ummi kecik2 dulu just tolong Aunty Murni anyam sama ketupat daun palas but now I can do it all by myself. Ummi niatkan bila dah jadi seorang Ummi eloklah belajar lebih untuk memasak so I can take care my children's healthy food intake well insyaAllah.Ummi looking forward to improvise more and more my cooking skills so ummi can prepare Hamzah home cooked meals,dengan harapan berkat air tangan Ummi so Hamzah will receive pemakanan baik for your healthy growth. As always a natural feeling,mothers will want the best for their child for as much as a mother can offer. In return,Ummi harap Hamzah will learn to be a good soleh son as well :)

The eve of Raya Aidilfitri 2011 Hamzah was your usual self. Hamzah suka main2,tapi what Ummi observe Hamzah mula pick up to understand especially on the eve of Raya is when fixed at watching Indahnya Iman until azan waktu masuk Hamzah mesti either amek sejadah suruh bentangkan lalu Hamzah sujud or Hamzah will take Ummi's Quran and duduk belek2 Quran pages.Alhamdulillah,sejuk hati Ummi bila witness Hamzah's good observation. Ilmu agama tetap satu aspek penting Ummi ingin terapkn dalam diri and hati Hamzah besides good knowledge in life to prepare Hamzah become a good muslim man one day. Semoga Allah SWT sentiasa permudahkan niat harapan aim Ummi ini untuk besarkan Hamzah.Ameen.

How times flies,ummi almost tak perasan the date today. What memories it gives ummi. As of today,3 years ago exactly Ummi and Abi di ijabkabulkan. Ummi tak sangka selepas di ijabkabulkan,tak lama pulak Allah kurniakan Hamzah untuk jadi peneman ummi abi :) Alhamdulillah,Allah Maha Mengetahui lagi Maha Penyayang.

Raya is getting nearer,ummi sooooooooooooo excited nak sambut raya with my little hero imam muda budak2 baik Hamzah :) Tak lama lagi jugak Hamzah will turn 1 year 4 months old! Lots of reason to celebrate Hamzah. First pre celebration dengan Hamzah was malam tadi kan sayang? Ummi dah belikan stok bunga api untuk main dengan Hamzah. Tapi Hamzah still small,so ummi tolong mainkan but definitely Ummi saw the cute gleaming look in your eyes sayang!You will really like main bunga api as you grow bigger.But no mercun ok??!!Bahaya :) Ummi will post up later photo Hamzah with bunga api and coming up in future entry for your monthly birthday sayang,Ummi will write a post about your birthday when you turned 1 insyaAllah.

Hamzah's "Connecting Tots"

Salam sayang buat anak ummi,Hamzah budak2 baik budak2 hensem :)

Perasaan semulajadi seorang ummi demi kebaikan anak2 is untuk mendidik mereka dengan ilmu dunia dan akhirat as best as we can. Ummi tak dapat deny,I too have this feeling for Hamzah since Hamzah mula lahir lagi.Ummi tau how important knowledge is for our future, especially for Hamzah.The more knowledge we gain,the higher level of knowledge we can have predicts more stability in our life insyaAllah. In Islam has stated as well,seorang yang berilmu tinggi mempunyai kehormatan yang tinggi dan lebih dari golongan lain.Islam juga tekankan kepentingan muslims untuk sentiasa menimba ilmu. Therefore,as Hamzah grow up from your infanthood to toddlerhood,Ummi sentiasa aim and also vision Hamzah's developement will be expanded well until you start your schooling.

Infanthood to toddlerhood till age 2 is very important for your brain developement. Research states that how well the first 2 years of a baby goes through life determines how well the brain grows and reaches almost 100% growth percentage that will remain permanent until throughout adulthood. The popular term used nowdays is "connecting tots" where brain Hamzah functions well to learn and explore by gaining more and more connections of brain cells.

Ummi cuba much as i can educating Hamzah by communications,showing books,flashcards,etc.Alhamdulillah as well Hamzah naturally learn to show your exploration side on your own.It never fails to amaze Ummi everyday watching Hamzah pick up to learn something new.Ummi doakan Hamzah sentiasa di permudahkan Allah SWT untuk menimba ilmu dunia dan akhirat,ameen.

For now,you're reaching 1 year 4 months old off course dah macam2 jugak Hamzah learn :) Ummi suka tgk gelagat Hamzah.....

• tolong sama kemas rumah...amek penyapu sapu lantai,amek baby wipe lap2 meja,buka tutup laci baju and keluarkan baju,kemas sendiri mainan2 hamzah :)
• bila nak keluar jugak, mesti amekkan tudung pass ke ummi,amek kunci kereta and handbag pass ke ummi untuk ajak keluar
• amek berus rambut ummi,beruskan sendiri rambut Hamzah
• belajar makan sendiri pakai sudu or garpu ikea Hamzah
• ride your own scooter!
• Belajar tulis and colouring
• more interest flip through your colorful books and jawi books
• tekun focus tengok laungan azan and zikir at indahnya iman
• At malls,Hamzah suka observe how the lift and escalator works (bakal engineer mcm ummi and abi?)

and macam2 lagi,the list is endless!!Ummi tak teringat nak write sume,but i'll try update lagi. Photos below are taken of Hamzah bila..
