Hamzah on malaysia day

Salam sayang buat anak ummi,hamzah :) Alhamdulillah since in the past 2 weeks u were not well due to fever & chesty cough after few series of visit to doctor & 2 paeditricians u've shown good recovery.Although hamzah cepat sembuh demam tp coughing took longer sampai hamzah vomit everyday nk keluar kahak & include food,drink & milk.Once start bg suitable meds & inhaler br hamzah stop vomit & cough less.susu & mkn minum jd teratur balik for u.
Inspite of those weeks not feeling well,u've always shown great bubble of energy & strength to play & explore the whole day.makin nakal,makin cerdik.alhamdulillah jg hamzah adapting well at taska has shown positive signs of ur interest to play with other children & much improvent in your speech developement.Everyday i pick u up frm taska u'll smile & chuckle:)

On Malaysia Day last sunday ummi bawa Hamzah jalan2 at O' Briens & u enjoyed its potato chips very much :)










On different occasion,we went for tutti frutti yogurt icecream treat for ummi's birthday :)

Us Taking Care Of Each Other

Salam sayang buat anak ummi,Hamzah :) Sehari dua ni ummi tend to think more of the fun things we do.Weather has been hot lately so ummi made a point to berendam dengan Hamzah dalam outdoor pool Hamzah yang besar Uncle Am & Aunty Zid hadiahkan tu at back area space of our home once a day. Hamzah memang enjoy always berendam mandi sampai dah jadi macam routine biasa which means nowdays Hamzah seldom and tak berapa nak mandi dalam bathroom (tapi if keep on pujuk biasa Hamzah tak kisah sgt mandi jugak dalam bathroom). Ummi wished I had focused earlier to train Hamzah learn to swim since you were newborn tapi somehow tak terfikir that time.Seems like its a trend nowdays some parents prefer ajar their child swimming since umur 1 bulan.InsyaAllah,one day ada masa lebih sesuai we'll enrol Hamzah for swimming lessons.

That aside,ummi teringat about what happened two nights ago which was totally unexpected tapi alhamdulillah,ummi very happy Hamzah dah pandai observe more what's around you and Ummi sentiasa doa biarlah Hamzah pick up hanya ilmu yang berguna you see around you. It reminds me of how Ummi hope we both will learn to take care of each other as we go on live our life sama. We slept early two nights ago,tapi ummi terjaga in the middle of the night sedar-sedar my blanket dah misplaced ke tepi.Dalam keadaan separuh ngantuk tu ummi tengok plak Hamzah elok-elok tersenyum duduk sebelah ummi and gelak tepuk-tepuk perut ummi then pass ke ummi your blanket utk ummi pakai ;') Lepas tu terus Hamzah sambung tido balik.

AAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWW ummi find it so sweet gesture Hamzah,anak soleh ummi insyaAllah. First time ummi find Hamzah have that gesture.Masa Hamzah younger than two years old dulu ada one time ummi ingat jugak pukul 3 pagi Hamzah terjaga tido rasa tak selesa mild fever and sebelah peha Hamzah mula bengkak due to the previous day Hamzah kena immune injection. You refused to sleep since in pain tak selesa so ummi bawa jugak Hamzah nak gi hospital to check.Tapi somehow halfway journey Hamzah calm down relax sikit and takde nampak serious indication we decided to head home again and ummi bagi Hamzah panadol syrup to ease your discomfort bring down temperature.Soon enough Hamzah dapat tido balik and a few days after recover completely.

We are around for each other and to take care for each other insyaAllah.Ummi sayang Hamzah always.

Hamzah at near 2 years 2 months old

Salam sayang buat anak ummi yang soleh,Hamzah. Just a quick post ummi nak jot down on your developement.Ummi can't help but to keep this as part of your progress journal while you are growing up sebab  it's always amazing to observe how fast you learn new things around you.

Speech progress Hamzah includes new words:

• correct words-hamzah sebut:
• duduk-duk
• masak -sak/masak
• hensem boy-hensem boy (ni yg paling best dgr hamzah ckp)
• upin-ipin-apin/sapi (rajoo's cow)
• barney-ni
• elmo-mo
• tak-tak
• sedap-sedap
• car-car
• tido-tido/do
• kasut-asut
• selipar-selipar
• belum-belum
• mandi-di
• ball-ball
• satu-satu
• tiga-tiga
• six-six

These words yang ummi betul-betul ingat,the more i obverse then i'll update lagi. Hamzah makin pandai cuba uruskan diri sendiri macam pakai kasut sneakers/selipar sendiri tanpa bantuan except you haven't learn nak fasten the velcro strap on your sneakers.Hamzah practise pakai/buka seluar sendiri.

On another note, just something to share with Hamzah. Hopefully in your eyes on top of Ummi juggle these responsibilities for Hamzah,you'll realise and learn to appreciate the efforts and sacrifice we go through untuk besarkan Hamzah as best as we can. There are quiet moments when Ummi feel the heavy burden on my shoulders to be mentally,spiritually and physically strong in coping motherhood and I cry alone (except few rare times in front of Hamzah before we sleep and Hamzah tak faham why ummi cry instead Hamzah gelak-gelak tepuk-tepuk ummi) tapi at the end of the day Ummi amat bersyukur Allah SWT tempatkan ummi di antara golongan ummatNya yang terpilih untuk memegang tanggungjawab sebagai parent sebab hakikat sebenar Hamzah penyeri hidup ummi and sebahagian semangat ummi untuk terus hidup. Dalam post ni ummi sertakan satu reminder untuk Hamzah,di harap Hamzah baca this post in the future so you'll know how rewarding it will be as well untuk Hamzah doakan pada Allah SWT segala kebaikan for your parents just like how Ummi sentiasa ingat ke Hamzah and sertakan dalam my doa's. 

A quirky but truthful description of an ummi's roles towards Hamzah and indeed I would do anything insyaAllah within my capabilities for Hamzah.

Reminder for Hamzah,jangan lupa doakan your parents always.Ummi sayang Hamzah sehingga akhirat insyaAllah.

Hamzah & 2nd birthday

Salam sayang buat anak ummi yg soleh,Hamzah :) More than a month have passed after you turned 2 and ummi seldom update your progress in between.Bukan ummi xperasan whats happening to you tapi xsempat nak properly pen down my thoughts & observation.Ummi jarang ada mood sesuai to write here in between my busy days tapi i'll still try when i can.

2nd birthday party Hamzah ummi organized as soon as my final semester exam over.It turned out quite well as planned alhamdulillah with many thanks for those who helped with energy,time & financial contribution to chip in.Rezeki Hamzah sentiasa ada insyaAllah.

Unlike your first birthday party,this party comes with a theme and its after your favourite Sesame Steeet monster,"Elmo".Ummi hoped Hamzah had fun time during your birthday event eventhough at times you looked rimas sebab ramai guest datang invading your comfort space@tv hall ;) Thank you to all who showed up with birthday presents for Hamzah.

1 month after Hamzah Turn Two

Salam sayang buat anak ummi,Hamzah.Today genap 1 bulan Hamzah turned two.April had been a month of stress for ummi with my personal commitments tapi full of anticipation to witness Hamzah grow each day to reach your two years old birthday :)

Ummi baru change the lilly pie ticker to mark your next birthday in our blog,ummi pasti Hamzah like it.Rasa tak percaya seeing u grow up so fast each day.Obvious changes took place soon as you turn two is on your vocabulary.

• Hamzah cepat pick up new words,eventhough some sounds not exactly correct tapi it's reaching there.
• Also Hamzah able to process better new knowledge like how some of your toys and ummi's phone operates well with the use of battery.Hamzah sure sebut bateri/ati bila phone ummi bat flat or ur red car goes slow.
• Hamzah's appetite pun expanding with varities.Alhamdulillah ummi always glad tgk selera Hamzah makan elok on most days.

Ummi tak sempat nak update very detailed for your development here but Hamzah tau,ummi is always there as much as I can to raise you up healthy and safe,dengan iringan doa ummi sentiasa utk Allah SWT melindung & menyayangi Hamzah selalu.Semoga membesar menjadi anak soleh insyaAllah,ameen.

Happy 2nd Birthday Hamzah Sayang!

On this night,exactly 2 years ago alhamdulillah ummi had safely gave birth to you,Hamzah sayang:) Ummi tak akan lupa moment i first laid my eyes on you bila Hamzah being placed straight on ummi's chest after you made your way out of ummi's womb & Dr Seri welcomed you.Terlalu cepat masa berlalu & now Hamzah dah selamat masuk umur 2 tahun.Ummi's sweet lovable little baby boy is now a handsome 2 year old toddler! Ummi feel so blessed from Allah SWT for your presence,to watch you grow each day safe & healthy under Allah's doing.
Ummi sentiasa doakan segala yg terbaik for Hamzah,my little boy.Semoga Hamzah membesar menjadi anak soleh,berakhlak baik & di penuhi kasih sayang oleh setiap insan mengenali Hamzah.Yang pasti,kasih sayang ummi ke Hamzah sepanjang hayat.Kasih sayang Allah SWT pada Hamzah & ummi juga that's everlasting:)
Today we didn't have special celebration lagi,ummi am sorry i'm busy with final exam revision.Next week its all over then we really celebrate your birthday ok sayang!Still tak nak let your special day go unnoticed,we went for short early dinner out at KFC along with a slice of birthday cake for Hamzah to enjoy :) We love you Hamzah!

When Hamzah's Practising How To Wear His Own Shoes

Salam sayang buat anak ummi :) It's getting near to your 23 months young and there's always new things to observe in your development which makes ummi feel very proud of you sayang.

Ummi's getting busy now as you would have noticed but I'm stealing abit of time to jot these down as simple as I can about your development for our own keepsake okay?

• Hamzah learning more about observing the surrounding by watching your favourite kids programs on dvd like Sesame Street and Barney! Hamzah suka sgt tgk these programs,boleh ulang everyday.Ummi tahu you love Elmo especially on the Sesame Street,especially after we got you the Elmo book on potty training with the interactive sounds :) Ummi hope you'll learn alot of new exciting knowledge like other kids love from the show like how to be "green" to take care our earth, on how trucks move and sound as well as different type of vehicles we have, sing alongs on nursey songs,etc.
• You're learning to say more simple words like "kunci-qee" and "thank you-choo".It's ok Hamzah pick up yg hujung je dulu,we'll learn more as we grow.
• Hamzah attempt nk pakai sendiri your shoes!Eventhough tak reti lagi tapi you're always curious nak cuba pakai sendiri. Which reminds me semua kasut Hamzah from Mothercare aunty Murni Uncle Iqbal hadiahkn dah tak muat for Hamzah :( Cian anak ummi, we'll need to get you more new shoes soon after ummi done with my final year project report and poster presentation insyaAllah we'll make time to shop your things. 
• Hamzah suka main toy cars now especially the red Ferrari rc racing car :) Laju je Hamzah tolak your favourite toy car ni (kalau Hamzah dah tahu camne nk use the remote controller racing toy car mesti lagi suka)

Ummi's Confession

It's late night and ummi still up trying much to get back my momentum & focus struggle progressing my fyp.As usual at these times when stressed,Hamzah you'll be ummi's source of happiness & calming feeling.All ummi need to do during breaks is to look into my iphone's photo & video album to see hundreds of your photo & videos throughout your almost 2 years of growing up.Ummi missing your presence at this time as you are sleeping soundly without a care in the world as i know in your view of your little world,everything is ok & you are happy.Alhamdulillah,ummi am glad Allah has blessed us this much sayang.
Watching you growing up never fails me to realize how great Allah SWT is in creating humanbeings.Never a day goes by it surprises ummi to see you grow from a newborn,a baby & now a toddler well on his way soon to become a pre schooler.
Ummi confess,i am no perfect mother.I am always struggling as well each day figuring out how to remain strongly focused mentally,spiritually & physically in motherhood whilst raising you up.I do feel scared at times,overwhelmed that such responsibility requires ummi to strive much more in myself.Can i be the best mother,parent,teacher,friend, confidant in your life?However it is on daily basis off course,ummi will carelessly brush away those queasy feeling as the truth is that whatever the challenges maybe it sums up to an amazing experience growing up with you my son :) We'll meet bumps and rocks along the way but insyaAllah ummi pray always Allah will keep us both close under his care and guidance.
Maybe I am just feeling this way as Hamzah anak pertama ummi.So every little detail of you is well imprinted in ummi's memory storage.While thinking of you tonight,looking at past photos of you made me miss those moments all the same all the way back when you were safely growing in my womb for 9 months,the moment you were delivered & thus ready to explore this world with ummi.

Ummi & Hamzah just a few weeks more to go before delivering you :) Indeed though i was still clueless at the time in this photo of what to expect in having you in my life soon,but then Ummi's love really comes as how Allah has given to all mothers & that's UNCONDITIONAL LOVE to own child :)

The 2 photos of ummi with Hamzah on board back in 2010 made ummi flash back into thinking of how clueless and innocent i was into embracing the experience of carrying you for 9 months Hamzah.At those times ummi wasn't sure of what to expect since i haven't experience taking care of babies.The only thing i know at this time with a smile,that your coming presence will be a promise of more happiness in our family,a key to keeping our family closer together.
However from the moment you were born,ummi quickly realised it is more than just that.It takes real maturity & own growth in ummi to grasp this idea of being a parent to you my son.Ummi will always face challenges being a mother to you from time to time & as worrying as it sounds,insyaAllah ummi will always doa to Allah for you and i to be placed under his blessing and love.May Allah grant my doa's.
On top of your cheeky smiles,sweet kisses and hugs,curious looks and occasional toddler tantrums,best of all thank you Hamzah in being the best reason for Ummi to continue learning on being a stronger grown up person as a individual & first time mother:)

2012 and Hamzah

Salam sayang buat anak ummi,Hamzah :)

Ummi terasa cepatnya masa berlalu. Pejam celik pejam celik Hamzah dah makin besar now in the year 2012,taller and riuh je mulut bercakap in your own language. It never fails to make me realise betapa besarnya kuasa Allah bila witness each day as you grow. Alhamdulillah,ummi sentiasa bersyukur Allah SWT sentiasa tempatkan Hamzah and ummi di bawah penjagaan-Nya. Sememangnya hanya kasih sayang Allah SWT hakiki and kekal sepanjang hayat untuk ummi and Hamzah appreciate and return with much gratitude.
Atas sebab itu,tak pernah lepas tuturan kata-kata and doa Ummi untuk Hamzah setiap hari untuk Allah SWT makbulkan supaya Hamzah membesar dengan baik,sihat and paling penting menjadi anak yang soleh buat ummi :) InsyaAllah, ummi akan berusaha as much as I can untuk Hamzah to be well educated firstly dengan ilmu agama secondly ilmu dunia untuk persiapkan Hamzah face the world as a fine grown up muslim man one day.
Ummi berharap Allah SWT akan mempermudahkan serta berkati doa Ummi buat Hamzah, for it is every mother's wish and prayer for their offsprings to grow into fine young "god-fearing" muslims,insyaAllah.
There's always new things to keep in our journal for Hamzah's developement but ummi apologize that it is not always easy to pen down all my thoughts about raising you up Hamzah. Although Hamzah still too young to understand all of this but deep down I know you're a good observant that ummi has alot to juggle alongside with making sure you're growing up well. We are strong in our own ways and Ummi am very glad Hamzah able to cope it well with Ummi.
Here's to more good prayers for us to achieve in year 2012--

• Perform solat on time together (with Hamzah prepare sujud few times bila dengar azan waktu masuk on channel oasis)
• Be more happy and contented with each other's company
• Have play times as much as we can together
• Learn new words -- now Hamzah's favourite word is : no,no!
• Adventurous with eating new food especially for Hamzah--healthy food that is

Ummi rasa macam tak percaya je,in less than 4 months time you'll turn 2 years old as well :') What a wonderful blessing feeling ummi dapat rasakan Allah SWT berikan peluang untuk ummi and Hamzah to experience this process of both of us growing up together. Eventhough ummi am busy juggling so much matters along with you but it never escapes my thinking from time to time to plan organize your next birthday celebration :) We'll do it together the preparation stage by stage and little by little from time to time okay?
